The Future Gate- Farah Ali

The project that I am proposing is for the main entrance for Mesa community college. It is a huge space with a heavy structure that gives the students unwelcoming feeling, I tried to make it more welcoming and connect it with the sky behind it. The scenes of graduated students are welcoming of the new students gives the new student feeling of connecting with the others who passed and reached their goals. It gives them the hope of success. The sky behind the scene gives the feeling of the wide future that wetting the student after his graduate, so I called it The Future Gate.

  4. I like your idea for this space. An image of success is a great way to walk onto a campus. I like that the graduates are looking down at you. Good choice for an image.

  5. I think the mural goes well with this one. If it were to be painted at the main entrance to Mesa like this, it would be rather eye-catching.

  8. I like the pictures of the graduates - it fits in very nicely with the shape of the structure which resembles the graduation cap. Also, the sky as the background is a great inspiration.
