"A Walk at the Zoo" - John O'Grady

Terry Allen's Trees for the Stuart Collection, brings to my mind the importance of preserving nature in today's changing world. I would like to see images of different animals painted onto each section of this wall at Mesa College.
This lengthy corridor is boring and offers nothing for the stressed or otherwise occupied walking student. I propose that various artists paint realistic monochromatic representations like the examples provided above.
I love to visit the Zoo, where I never get bored or stressed. A student (or teacher) walking this path would be relaxed and intrigued by nature's beauty. - John O'Grady

  1. Great idea John. I would support that proposal, especially if it featured endangered animals. Nicely done.

  15. This would add a sense of how close we are to the animals and how we need to step up to help out all of Gods creatures survive from human impact.

  17. I like the idea of reminding someone about how they feel in a more peaceful place (like the zoo), especially in the middle of a hectic school/work day. This would definitely make me stop and pay attention. Good job

  19. Love the idea that you presented! To get that idea across, I think you need something to tie them all together. Great images, must have been time consuming with selection tools!
