Why go back to school after you retire? According to Ellen Freudenheim, baby boomers are returning to school for several reasons. She listed twelve reasons in her article but I returned to live out my dream. I retired after 30 years and was inspired to go back and dive in. I believe everyone needs a little inspiration, hope and to be able to visualize that your dreams are within reach, no matter what your age, if you just take that first step. Just "Dive in to a school" and watch the magic take place right in front of your eyes.
I originally posted "Take the Climb" and after reviewing the comments decided to post my original piece but the concepts are identical. Education is priceless and knowledge can not be taken away, no matter the state of our economy.
